CAR PARKING

There is an ever present danger of an accident occurring when bikes, child pedestrians and motor vehicles are in the same area. To reduce the likelihood of an accident, please keep the following in mind:

The staff car park (off Nepondi Court) is for use of staff and visitors' cars and authorised vehicular traffic only. Students should not be dropped off or picked up in this car park. There are two car parking spaces for community access if they display a Disability Permit.

The main family car park is on Pangari Drive. Children are constantly discouraged from cycling in this area. Drivers are reminded this is not an area you can park or leave cars unattended, unless your vehicle is parked in a designated space. In times of congestion, families may choose to arrange to meet children in neighbouring streets.

As members of staff, our yard duty responsibility is your children’s safety rather than managing adult car parking protocols. Support with difficulties is provided through the Tea Tree Gully Council and SAPOL as appropriate.

Care should be taken when dropping students off in Nepondi Court, outside the staff car park, as this is a main access road to the school for heavy delivery vehicles.

Community support is valued and appreciated in the interests of safety during arrival and departure times.
